Where are you located?
Books and Bling is a home-based, independent business located in LaPorte, Indiana.
Do you have a Facebook, Instagram, etc.?
We are on Facebook at facebook.com/booksbling. On the Facebook page, you can find photos, videos, and information about where we will be—we love to participate in community markets, craft fairs, and Shipshewana on the Road, if you know, you know. We would LOVE to see you there!
We do not currently have an Instagram page or TikTok, but are working on it…please stay tuned!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.
How is the subscription club billed?
The subscription club is billed once a month using your saved payment method. It is billed on whatever day of the month you first signed up.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, of course, you can! Just shoot us an e-mail at booksblingchat@gmail.com.
Where do you get your books?
We buy our new books from a few trusted online sellers, in bulk. Our used books are sourced from many different places. Some of them come from our personal libraries. Sometimes, friends or even customers give us books! We scour thrift stores, library book sales, secondhand markets, and the like for great quality used books, as well. There are also a few online used book sellers that we buy from.
Who wraps them and decorates them?
I do! I’m the owner of Books and Bling, and I do all of the wrapping and decorating myself! Yes, it’s a lot of work, but I love it!
What if I get a book that I already read?
That’s the gamble when you buy a blind book! Fun, isn’t it?! If you get one you’ve read before, pass it on to someone else or donate it to your local library!
